Presently he is Chief Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon at Eye-Q Super-specialty EYE Hospitals 4306, Phase – IV (Near Galleria market) Gurgaon and Sheetla Hospital & Eye Institute Pvt. Ltd., New Railway Road, Gurgaon.
Qualifications
- Post graduation from Dr. R.P.Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS
- Intensive training for advanced vitreo-retinal surgery and management of medical retinal disorders during his 3 years fellowship and 1 year of research association with AIIMS Over 1000 vitreous surgeries to his credit.
Publications and Awards
- Over 50 publications with 25 indexed publications in leading international journals including Ophthalmology (AAO), American journal of ophthalmology, Retina, Eye, British Journal of Ophthalmology, Acta Ophthalmologica Scandinavica, Clinical and experimental ophthalmology
- He has written 14 chapters in various leading books
- A faculty and speaker in more than 25 conferences.
- Reviewer for the prestigious journal “Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery” and has reviewed more than 15 articles for them by now.
- Recipient of various awards including the “ORA – Best Senior Resident” at AIIMS and “Rezangala” award for social service from Govt. of Haryana.
Experience
Performed live Vitreoretinal surgical workshops across the country (WHO; training the trainer workshops) at Calcutta, Allahabad, Chandigarh, Ajmer, Jaipur and Bhiwani.
